Bio + Terms
Jeff is an artist and retired architect living in Portland, Oregon. After practicing architecture in Germany, France and the United Kingdom from 1971 to 1977, he co-founded Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd Architects in 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota (now called MSR Design). He was an adjunct professor from 1978-1998 at the University of Minnesota College of Design. Jeff was elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 1998. For over 50 years his architectural interest and personal passion has been the public library and its important role in our communities.
His paintings and drawings focus on the natural world and our collective human condition. He gives his artwork away in exchange for a charitable donation to a library or charity of your choice. In exchange, you agree to decide on the value of the artwork, to not disclose that amount to Jeff and to give that sum to a library or charity. There is a nominal charge for materials and shipping.
